Connect & Trade

Walk through each step below to connect your brokerage account and pull live data using the TradeGrub API. All requests run directly in your browser, no SDK or backend setup required.

1. Enter your API credentials

All endpoints require an API Key and Secret Key for authentication. Your secret key is sensitive information and should be kept secure at all times.

Where to find your credentials

1Open the TradeGrub app → More → Preferences

2Tap API Management

3Tap Generate API Key to create your credentials

4Copy both values immediately; the secret is only shown once

2. Connect a brokerage account

Link your stock broker or crypto exchange. A secure portal opens where you can authorize access. Your broker login stays between you and the broker.

3. Your accounts

Pull the list of brokerage accounts linked to your API key. Click an account to select it for data retrieval in the next step.

4. Account data

Pick an account above, then fetch live positions and balances from your broker.

SnapTrade — Connect Your Broker

Connect your brokerage account through SnapTrade to view positions, balances, and trade.

SnapTrade Credentials

Select an endpoint from the sidebar to get started.

Set Credentials

Click the lock icon to add your API keys.

Pick an Endpoint

Browse or search the sidebar list.

Fill Parameters

Enter required values like account ID or symbol.

Send Request

Hit send and view the live response.
